Author and philosopher Ayn Rand, who owned works by Capuletti and befriended him as well, has this to say about his work in an article on the artist, entitled "Capuletti," which was published in the December 1966 in the The Objectivist Newsletter:

'The sense of life projected by Capuletti's work is that of a man who is in love with life, with the earth and "everything that's in it." To him, life is a magnificent adventure with discovery: things are fresh, important, significant, because he sees things for the first time. It is as if a man's eyes were headlights and he were forever delighted that the things he saw were luminous, not knowing that the illumination came from him—which is the essence of being an artist.'
